* WHEN...Through late tonight.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

- Training and repeating thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall
will occur today and tonight. Some areas have had 4+ inches
of rainfall already. Additional corridors of 2 to 5 inches of
rain may fall today. If training occurs over the same areas
that have already had heavy rain or in urban areas, life
threatening flash flooding can quickly result. The main
timing will be between 200 PM and 200 AM this afternoon into

a line extending from near Warrenton to 6 miles southwest of Halifax.
Movement was northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Roanoke Rapids, Halifax, Norlina, Littleton, Weldon, Macon, South
