Widespread Showers in the Eastern US; Severe Thunderstorms in the Plains; Heatwave in the Desert Southwest

Widespread showers and thunderstorms across much of the central and eastern U.S. will produce areas of excessive rainfall, especially in the southern Mid-Atlantic states. Scattered severe thunderstorms are expected from Montana into portions of the central/southern Plains this weekend. Welcome to the Western Region Headquarters Integrated Services Division

The Integrated Services Division (ISD) provides support to the Western Region field offices by:

providing operational IDSS guidance
managing the WR Regional Operations Center (WR ROC)
managing regional programs on weather, water, and climate
providing guidance on the implementation and interpretation of national policies and procedures
developing regional policies and guidance

The Integrated Services Division consists of both the Operations Branch and the Services Branch.
